In 2022, we undertook two major projects for globally renowned clients, MTV Asia and Lazada. Both were long-form series that required intricate and extensive international collaboration to bring to fruition. The diversity and range of these projects tested our team’s mettle and honed our content creation, strategic, and technical skills to perfection. These two major projects won us a Gold and Local Hero for the Video/Production Company of the Year at Agency of the Year Awards 2023.
Superminted’s video production department was able to develop fresh and innovative campaigns that transcended the logistical and technical limitations imposed by the pandemic. Our team experimented with new creative workflows and processes, ensuring the company and clients could thrive in the pandemic and post-pandemic age. These efforts allowed us to overcome challenges and deliver high-quality content, earning us recognition and accolades from the industry.

MTV | Krash Kourse
Krash Kourse is a 10-episode edutainment series produced by Superminted for MTV Asia’s YouTube platform. This show features a wacky cast that underwent fun challenges to learn about Korean Culture including K-pop, fashion, food and more. MTV Asia wanted to use this series to broaden their YouTube viewership while retaining their dedicated SEA K-pop enthusiasts to maximise their channel’s impressions and engagement rate.
Instead of the conventional pandemic entertainment content, such as Zoom questionnaires and interviews, this series reimagines how Korean variety shows would look if filmed remotely.

Lazada | Laz It Up
Lazada wanted to increase seller registrations and highlight the benefits of using Lazada Marketplace in Southeast Asia through an awareness campaign. Hence, they engaged Superminted to produce a series of videos and key visuals (KVs) for Lazada Marketplace. These videos focused on showcasing Lazada’s outstanding service offerings and the significant impact of Lazada’s collaborations with prominent brands, illustrated through the success stories of current sellers.
Drawing inspiration from photojournalistic documentaries, we conveyed the sensitivity of these human stories in a narrative fashion. We collaborated closely with our overseas crew partners and managed our resources efficiently to execute a series of cinematic videos.

Kyra Coleen Jose | Rising Star
On top of our awards, we’re also proud to announce that our Art Director, Kyra Coleen Jose, won Gold in the Rising Star Category! Kyra has proven to be a talented and dynamic creative force, achieving remarkable milestones in her career as a first-time Art Director. In her time here at Superminted, Kyra has assumed her role with unparalleled passion, leadership, autonomy, and ambition.
Her outstanding contributions have not only shaped the agency’s visual identity but have also elevated its video marketing efforts to new heights. She spearheaded the creative direction for prominent projects, including high-profile clients such as MTV Asia, Lazada, and WAHL SEA, leaving a lasting impact. Additionally, she has taken the lead in driving our agency’s in-house marketing initiatives.
