SAMA: Independent Agencies Come Together To Formalise Historic Coalition

On 29th August 2024, the Strategic Asia Marketing Alliance (SAMA) was established as partners and representatives gathered in Jakarta to sign a Memorandum of Understanding.

Boasting a diverse roster of organisations from various countries in Southeast Asia, the coalition of independent agencies was formed with the goal of disrupting an unvarying and predictable industry through cross-border partnerships.

Superminted was one of two Singaporean agencies invited – not wanting to adopt a “wait and see” approach, the challenges faced by mid-sized independent agencies resonate with us and we were present at the event to proudly throw the full weight of our support behind SAMA.

As a brand management agency, we believe that solutions to today’s complex problems don’t exist in isolation – and that the most creative and effective answers lie in regional collaboration and nuanced insights.

SAMA represents the best and brightest of the independent agencies in Southeast Asia, and we recognise this as an opportunity to not only learn but also impart our unique brand of expertise amongst an esteemed group of colleagues and peers.

For Superminted, this joint venture represents a major leap forward in achieving our mission of supporting brands in their journey of growth and evolution. Flanked by partners that excel in their respective crafts (e.g. MarTech, PR, KOL Management), SAMA’s curated lineup of partnering agencies is poised to shake up the regional marketing landscape and bridge the gap between present and future.
