Effective minimalism with Geonbae

Geonbae first came to SPMT with a desire to refresh its brand, as competition in the industry grew increasingly stiff. To break through the noise and create top-of-mind recall, our brand strategy helped them to redefine their value proposition and create space for their expanding range of products.
With simple and recognisable labels, we created a clean brand aesthetic for Geonbae that allowed them to extend the brand identity into their own products. Now, Geonbae welcomes a modern identity for the future of their business that connects with their audience, through both digital platforms and physical marketing collateral.

Building foundations with Waa Cow !

Waa Cow! is often used as an exclamation of surprise or a swear word in Singaporean and Taiwanese cultures. But to the brand, it also means all things “Waa-gyu”, with wagyu beef bowls being their signature dish. When they first approached us, we found that Waa Cow’s original concept lacked brand clarity. This subsequently affected all their marketing efforts, from menu offerings to social media content.
SPMT worked with Waa Cow! to establish their brand experience from bottom-up, from their brand’s core foundations to application and expression of their brand identity and colours. This exercise with Waa Cow! established a strong foundation for the brand to build their visual identity and marketing efforts.

Success with Wilsafe Systems

As a company that provides full-service fire-fighting systems for marine and offshore industries, Wilsafe Systems came to SPMT looking for a rebrand that would push them onto a global stage and differentiate them from their competitors. It was also important to them that they did not deviate too far from their original logo.
A brand audit and strategy session with the Wilsafe Systems team helped to establish gaps and areas of improvement, which then gave the SPMT team a clear purpose, vision and mission to work towards. We then developed a new logo, on top of bespoke iconography, brand expression and patterns to elevate brand recall. This new identity has helped to communicate the brand’s goal of providing simple and compliant solutions to their customers, while also bringing global awareness to their brand universe.
