What we're looking for

Do you enjoy shaping content strategy while helping others produce stronger work?

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll lead social-first thinking across client accounts, guide a growing team and work closely with clients to develop clear, effective content strategies. This is a player-coach role: you’ll stay close to the work while providing direction, raising standards and supporting the people responsible for delivering it.

We’re looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with practical experience. You should be comfortable advising clients, mentoring team members and using insights to improve both the work and its effectiveness.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the development of social-first content strategies aligned with client and business goals.
  • Guide and mentor content planners, providing clear direction and setting consistent standards.
  • Partner with clients to understand their needs and serve as a trusted strategic advisor.
  • Review content plans and creative work, providing constructive feedback to improve quality.
  • Use platform data, audience insights and performance findings to refine strategies.
  • Work closely with account, creative and performance teams to bring strategies to life.
  • Support the team in navigating priorities, challenges and evolving client needs.
  • Keep up with changing platforms, content behaviours and digital marketing practices.

What you'll bring

  • 4–5 years’ experience in content strategy, social media or digital marketing, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Experience managing, guiding or mentoring others.
  • Strong knowledge of social platforms and how content works across them.
  • The ability to translate business and communication goals into clear content strategies.
  • Confidence working directly with clients and presenting strategic recommendations.
  • Good judgement when reviewing work and providing clear, constructive feedback.
  • A working understanding of data and insights, and how they can be used to improve strategy.
  • Strong communication, organisation and collaboration skills.
  • A hands-on approach, with the ability to balance team leadership and strategic responsibilities.
