Role
A brand strategist is one who knows how to build brands from the bottom up from strategy to expression to activation. We are looking for an astute and analytical individual who is adept at conducting competitive research to identify our clients’ strengths and weaknesses; and analysing market trends to identify new opportunities and challenges for the purpose of crafting effective differentiation and positioning strategies for our clients. You will be able to hone your skills by facilitating brand strategy workshops and be mentored by our Principal Brand Consultant. You will work with our brand designers to create brand guidelines that define a brand’s personality, tone of voice as well as memorable slogans. You will also work closely with your fellow team mates in the marketing strategy team to further develop and build brand touch points that facilitate strong brand association and love. This role requires keen analytical thinking, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, project and time management skills as well as an eye for good design.
Responsibilities
- Interact professionally with clients to understand objectives and identify needs;
- Conduct market research to carry out brand audits;
- Conduct brand discovery and brand strategy workshops;
- Distil and prepare workshop summary decks;
- Collaborate with brand designers to express brand strategy in visual and more tangible forms;
- Work with marketing team to recommend go-to-market strategies for clients; and
- Respond to clients independently and responsibly with the Agency’s core values and beliefs in mind.
Requirements
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management
- Good understanding of the full marketing mix;
- Experience developing marketing strategies based on market segmentation;
- Data-driven thinking;
- Creativity;
- Good linguistic and communication skills; and
- Good knowledge and understanding of art and design principles and process.
