Pixiclean is a natural disinfectant brand, committed to protecting the long-term health and well-being of families with its speciality in botanical research and a holistic approach to raising hygiene standards.
How would Pixiclean be personified? She would be a pixie who is committed to creating a safe and clean environment for life. With a spritz here and there, she adds sparkle to her surroundings. An interaction with her is a gentle touch that brings comfort and security, proof of her care for all living things.
With this in mind, we created the brand name, Pixiclean, the brand identity and the tagline to reinforce the brand promise.

Brand identity development
The Pixiclean logo consists of the symbol and wordmark, with the symbol encapsulating the Pixiclean promise.
The symbol comprises four brand elements — peony petals, droplets, leaves and three sparkles. The peony petals represent one of the brand’s main ingredient i.e. Moutan root extract which is a type of peony root. The droplets symbolise the spray while the leaves represent the botanical ingredients. Lastly, the three dots reflect the sparkling clean effect of the spray and aim to complement the dots in the tagline. Together, they symbolise how the botanical disinfectant brand is created from natural ingredients.

The symbol is applied prominently across the the brands disinfectant labels to ensure a distinct brand identifier. The packaging label comes in the brand’s signature yellow and white for a clean and bright look. On certain labels such as the box packaging and refill bottle, they also feature the symbol in its multi-coloured version to add some colour to the range. For the medium bottle and refill, icons are displayed to represent the natural ingredients in the disinfectant solution and its high quality. The four icons are: “100% natural”, “Suitable for sensitive skin”, “Chemical-free” and “Baby-safe”. The icons were designed to be similar to the logo and are simple silhouettes that reflect its purpose.

The graphic elements are derived from the logo and come in various layouts such as cropped symbols and patterns. This provides versatility to the identity to create a diverse packaging range. The graphic elements are used throughout the packaging labels and marketing collateral.

The brand colours consist of two primary colours, yellow and green. Neutral colours of black and white and secondary colours of light green and coral are used to support the primary colours. The colour tones include a mix of vibrant and relaxing colours which evoke a sense of calm vivacity. The typography is kept simple by using one typeface, Cooper BT. It is a modern serif with a distinct round-edged text face, giving the font a friendly and gentle look.

Conclusion
Besides their products, the designs were also applied to other brand collaterals, such as the product catalogue and tri-fold leaflet. We also designed layouts for their website and social media. In conclusion, we used a combination of graphic elements and natural photography style to bring out the clean and caring personality of Pixiclean.
